This challenge has been a lot of fun for me. I am still motivated to cook everyday from the cookbook. It's definitely not easy when I end up coming home from work a little later. But I take about 15 minutes to sit on the couch then I am back up and in the kitchen. The past few weeks at work have been a little crazy. But I am proud to say that cooking is starting to be relaxing after a crazy day.

I started the week off with a failure. I made Jo's Fatayars. They are supposed to look like a triangle. But mine didn't hold in the oven. We still ate them, because the ingredients were still there. It didn't taste that great. I must have done something wrong! It was very dry. I am not a big fan of ground beef just to eat. That is kind of what it is... So here is my failure picture. 😂

Next I tried the deviled eggs for Bunko Night. They were really delicious! I have never made deviled eggs with relish. I didn't have time for bacon bits on top, but I think it would have been a great addition to the eggs.

Her baked chicken was to die for! I dreamed of that wild rice for days. It was so dang amazing. This might be my new favorite that I have made so far. We had my brother and his wife over for dinner so we had multiple people give there score on this meal. It scored a solid 5 stars. We also had Green Bean Amandine. That was a 4.5. Haydon had to go and ruin it with a four.

Saturday was a nice relaxing day with an easy Flatbread Pizza. I could not find flatbread anywhere in town so we used Pilsbury Pizza Dough and it was still so good. It was so simple as well packed with lots of flavor.

Stay tuned for next week's post!
